Some of my friends are giving me a hard time for using a man purse. I’m fine with them mocking me but I always ask them how they carry their stuff around. They have yet to tell me a good option to my shoulder bag. I sometimes show them the stuff I “need” to carry with me and they understand why I constantly is bringing it along.
I’m a design engineer and a programmer and I never know when I’m in need of a Windows 10 computer. That’s why I got the Onda V820W seen in the pictures. It has dual boot (Android-Windows) and thanks to the USB-hub on the go with charging possibilities I’m always able to do some small development and workarounds on the tablet and send it to my friends and customers via internet or USB.
Other than my credit cards and headphones (none good enough to be mentioned here on the blog) I keep my eyeglasses and chewing gum in the bag. But the most important item therein is my power bank. Together with my charger I’m always good regarding extra juice for my phone. My phone is using USB type-C and that means I’m force to use a USB type-C to USB micro adapter but thanks to the small size of the adapter I’m able to store all the cables together with the power bank in the pouch (which came along in the package).
The bag itself is a Nike shoulder bag of “messenger” type. I haven’t been able to find the exact model but Nike still sell a variant of it. What I really like about my old bag is the top cover that is just a flip over type. I rarely button the big pocket and the small pocket is where I store my credit cards and keys to the car and house. All-and-all it’s a perfect bag – small in size but let me carry along the essentials.
The Zicac Canvas Messenger Bag is a tad bigger than mine but it looks like the best equivalent to my old Nike bag. A good thing about having a 100% fabrics bag is that you could wash it like any regular clothing (I’ve done this 1-2 times a year).
